HELP, if I start a cleaning business, should I try to find business partners ?
I am thinking of starting a cleaning business. I noticed that there is a great amount of competition from people who are experienced in the area. The fact that there are people who are in business, women (who are more likely to be hired in this field), my first thought was to stay out of this market and find another business to start.
I thought that if I could somehow make a deal to work for a small cleaning business for a few months for a very low wage to proove myself to be honest and good to work with, then if it works out with the small cleaning business owner, we would talk about ownership. I feel that I have great drive and I like the idea of being in a team anyway. Any ideas ??? Any Comments? Any Critisizms ? Anyone think it is a good or bad idea, and why ?
it’s a good idea you wanting to work at the business first in order to get the experience. that’s a definite plus. there is probably no way for you to make it in a business in which you know nothing about, so get all the experience you can first. in regards to having a partner for your own future business i can tell you from experience that a partnership is not always a good thing. i’ve had 3 partners in the past and always ended up in disputes, so now i’m the sole owner of my business and couldn’t be better.
