Ok … here … question would every race or color / Religion and beliefs / etc … In a perfect world would be a business owner interview and select the most intelligent – The best equipped man / woman for particular work function. When companies are forced to ignore a provision "best candidate" to fill quota (minority or whatever), not the collective "we" – which represents the United States, their products, productivity, GDP, etc. slowly (potentially) reduces the sake of political correctness? *** The family of my mother emigrated to this country and have been mistaken for Latino. That said, I am curious to hear what people think.
In theory, it could degrade the quality over time, but the "quota" is generally not large enough to be an important factor in reality. And it is so unlikely that recruitment of minority candidates you hire is the greatest good and others who are not rent.
