I am moving to Egypt/Cairo the end of this year, I am aware of that, there is no much Job opportunities there….so, I was thinking if its easy to open your own small business? if so, what kind of small business available? and how much money do you need to have to even think about it?……..Pls just give me some Ideas/list the usefull small business can foriegners oprate?

Well it depends on what u mean by small and what u have in mind. For example I used to take laptop computers with me and they sell for a pretty good profit. Now in terms of an actual business? It gets more complicate. There are Tons of paperwork to go thru, especially for a foreigner…it takes about a year to get a ‘business license‘ there are ways around it, but its not easy or cheap. I have a friend there who does import export, ill put in contact if you like….I live there about 1/2 the year also. My wifes family has an antique business and owns a chain of restaurants as well. So if u wish i can put u in touch with people there to just talk to and get ideas….for Free! be careful, take care let me know how it turns out.
