how much would it cost to to fit network cables in a small business?
I was wondering how much would i need to pay an engineer if i wanted to fit network cables in a small business office with 15 PC’s?
I was just looking for a rough estimation of how much it would cost me to get my small business office which consists of 15 PC’s to fit network cables.
The price of installing network cables in a small business depends on a lot of different circumstances. It is cheaper to buy cable and RJ-45 connectors and make the cables yourself that to purchase factory made. There is increased cost on the type of cable such as CAT5e or CAT6 and the choice of shielded or unshielded twisted pair. (I recommend CAT6 shielded to allow for a longer life cycle, less interference, and guaranteed speed). Industry paneling can add up as well (this is what houses the cables so they are not just laying on the floor). You should allow for 25% growth on what ever solution you go with (keep in mind printers and digital senders need connections too). It could be do professionally in the range of 2k-5k depending on if you acquire the supplies yourself an only have to pay for labor.
