Schools that offer a music business major?
Are there other schools with majors comparable to Columbia College’s Music business management? Most schools have this program within a music college and require an audition and participation within an ensemble. I don’t play an instrument, but I am really interested in the management/production side of the industry. The program at this school looks perfect, but I’m looking for a school that’s located further west (ideally, southern California).
Not familiar with too many west coast schools but on the east coast there is Berklee College of Music, NYU’s music business program, Northwestern, Drexel… It seems to be growing in popularity which is ironic given that there are less jobs.
