What group benefits most from affirmative action quotas college admission, jobs grants gov’t contracts etc?
IE. In Chicago you have a huge advantage if you are a minority owned business. If you are a white male and own a business you don’t have a chance of winning a City bid. In California to be in the Department of Natural Resources a White male used to need to score of 99.5% out of 200 questions correct to be considered for the job whereas a black female only had to get 48% correct. This statistic is old and I hope this has been changed by now though I’m sure there is still a great difference in requirements. I know if you are here illegally there are a lot of benefits like free college education at some state schools, in state tuition at others, subsidized loans for housing in Illinois, free health care, etc. though my question isn’t immigration based, it’s for citizens.
Face it, in today’s world, a middle class working white man stand less of a chance than a snowball surviving a week in hell.
The job opportuntiy is geared towards the blacks, women and illegal immigrants, not the white man, and this included the chance for education.

The Minority - $12.99 An honest, hardworking man discovers the hardships of being stereotyped as a Black man in America after losing his cushy office job and suddenly being bombarded with racial biases. Jake Jackson (Billoah Greene) is one of the nicest, most decent people you’d ever hope to meet; he works hard at his job, leads a clean lifestyle, and just wants to lead a carefree life. But being comfortable in your own skin isn’t always easy when it’s a darker shade of brown, and after being inexplicably fired Jake begins to experience the frustration of being a minority in a racist society. As Jake sets out in search of a new job, his eyes are suddenly opened to the bigotry all around. Jake has worked hard to get where is today, and all he asks in return is justice and respect. When those things elude him, Jake begins a dark slide down the path to insanity. Only when Jake manages to capture a wanted serial killer does his luck begin to change, but by then he has already grown bitter after seeing the true colors of the people he once trusted. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi |
