business directory/Local Portal Home business opportunity…looks good…do you think I can succeed with it?

I have been investigating a popular home based business opportunity, which is operating a local business directory and portal for my city. I would make money by selling featured listings and banner ads, as well as with built-in affiliate programs and the best part is that it doesn’t require any programming knowledge (since I don’t have any!).
