Dr. Anthony Frogameni is a 1981 graduate of the University of Notre Dame. Upon graduation he continued his education at the Medical College of Ohio (MCO) where he earned his M.D. in 1985 and completed his General Surgery Internship (1986) and Orthopaedic Surgery Residency (1991). Dr. Frogameni was also awarded a fellowship in 1992 from the Southern Cal Center for Sports.

Dr. Frogameni is licensed to practice in both Ohio and Michigan. He has received several awards and honors including the 1993 Charles Neer Award for Outstanding Clinical Shoulder Research. Dr. Frogameni currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at MCO and as the team physician for the Toledo Mud Hens.
