How should I tell my husband that I am pregnant?
My husband and I have been talking about having a baby the past month or so. I explained that I have been having a strong maternal instinct lately that tells me we should have a baby, but we both agreed to wait about another year for financial reasons…
Thursday he took a flight to new york for business. I found out 30 minutes later that I AM pregnant NOW—due in October. This will be pleasant news, but definately a surprise. Today he flies home and I need to announce the news.
#1) I tried to get him to go out tonight and he said he’d be too tired. So I have to tell him at home.
#2) I don’t want to drag this out– I want to tell others, and to tell them, I first have to tell the hubby— so he needs to know today. I can’t wait until he “finds” something or “figures it out”.
