Custom Presentation Folder Ideas?
I will be attending a conference next month and I am putting together a demo portfolio (composer). I was wondering what ideas you guys had that would be cost effecient. Here’s what I would LIKE (but is too expensive).
- 30 Customized folders with my logo, name, and contact information on the front.
- business card holder in the front sleeve of the folder
- CD holder in the 2nd sleeve
- Fasteners to put paper (certificate paper) information on cd, biography, scores, etc.
Now of course, the customized part is nearly $150+ alone, and I really don’t want to spend more then $70-80. This needs to look as professional as possible, but keep a creative idea intact.
Things I need:
- My name on front somehow that won’t look tacky
- Place to put my business card in the folder
- Area for a CD or atleast enough room to stick an adhesive CD sleeve on it.

There are 3 ring binders that have a clear “pocket” on the cover that allows you to slip an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper in for a custom cover. Design the cover yourself on the computer…or have a creative friend do it for you. Business card holders and CD holders are available for 3 ring binders as well as sheet protectors for your bio and scores, etc. Probably $3-$5 per binder. I use them all of the time.
