How can an Australian company start business in the US?
Is it just as simple as going over there, finding a store to rent and signing the lease as a foreign company registered in Australia, or do you have to register as a US company to be able to enter into leases, employ US citizens, etc.
I guess you would at least need a US bank account – how would this work also.
You need a license to open a business.

You also need to pay taxes to the United States of America and that subject is too complicated. You really need to hire an Accountant in the United States of America to do your taxes.
You are going to need at least a Lawyer.
In the United States of America you get lawsuits for everything. Specially if you are a foreign business.
