When a kid has diabetes, there are several experiences that they lose out on. Halloween for the diabetic kid, means picking up a bag of treats they will not get to enjoy. Playing at a friend’s’s house entails heading home for medication or a shot, and having to decline to sweet nibbles if they are offered. Class parties can leave a kid feeling left out when sugary treats are being served and a birthday without cake and ice cream appears dismal.

If you have a child that has been diagnosed as having diabetes, there are methods to make their birthday special. With a little preplanning a birthday celebration for a diabetic kid can be plenty of fun for everybody.
As your kid’s party approaches, make sure that they’re eating thoroughly and doing all they can to keep their blood sugar levels under control. The fun of the day can change their appetite and not eating can wreak havoc on blood sugar. Ensure that on the day of the party, your kid eats a good breakfast and has a snack before everybody arrives. Ensure that they are well rested the evening before their party and if at all possible have your child take a short rest or nap the day of their party.
If it is too hard to plan a menu that your kid can eat and the other guests will enjoy, simply plan to have your party in the afternoon, so guests will not be expecting you to serve them lunch or dinner. If you are providing food, ensure that there are lots of healthy things to eat, served in fun ways. Put out trays of plants rather than chips with dip, or crackers and cheese.
Instead of giving candy as party favors, give out small toys. The youngsters will be so busy, that a lack of snacks will not bother them.
It is tough to avoid a birthday cake at a party. If your kid’s diabetes is in hand, a small piece doubtless will not do any harm them. You can even check with your bakery and see if they’ve a diabetic friendly recipe for birthday cake.
The best thing you can do to make your child feel special on their birthday is to make the day as ordinary as possible . Don’t make your child eat sugar free cake while the guests get a sugar sweetened variety. Don’t make a big deal over the proven fact that the cake is sugar free. Most of your visitors will probably not even notice. Just have a great time, keep an eye on your child, and congratulate yourself on another year of successfully controlling your tiny one’s diabetes.

I feel so behind in life? please help//?
Hi im 19 turning 20 in dec. I dropped out of school and am planning on getting my GED then attending the community college for 2 years doing extremely well then transferring to a decent university to get a 4 year degree in finance. Right now i have $0. I have a job but just blow the money away. i work at burger king. By the end of this year if i save all i could have 3000. but im about to spend 500 on some clothing. but my plan is to save 4000 a year next year on into a personal stock market account.. i mean im still young so im not bad off in the long run right just starting slow? lately i been feeling like crap. i have no car live with parents. life sucks. i just be listenin to drake i just wanna be succesfful and it keeps my head up. i want to work around wall street i love the stock market and business its what im best at. im worried im scared of what the future holds. i feel very confident but then times i dought myself.
If you do well enough at CC you can get some scholoarships and loans to pay for school. You might even have money extra every semester for food, books, housing etc. Just stay focused once you are in school and make as many connects as you can. You want to have a job lined up once you graduate. Do internships paid and unpaid to get your foot in the door.
Right now if you are spending 500 on clothing and you live at your parents house that really isnt a big deal because you havve no bills. But once you move out unless you have an income to support it you need to stay on a budget.
Nothing wrong with Burger King, a job is a job. See if they will help pay for school. Stick with your savings plan that will help you in the long run. Worry aboout getting into school then figure out how you will pay for it. State schools are cheaper but private schools offer more scholarships.
