Is an Aloha Attire okay for business casual?

There’s an upcoming social event coming up and it asks “business casual attire is requested”. I recently moved to Los Angeles and realized I didn’t bring my plain button ups and sports jacket (in the process of moving). I do have a ton of aloha shirts and I do have my nice black dress pants that went with my sports jacket.

The event includes networking, music, and dancing.

Here is an example of something I have: http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q117/Zedlav101/IMG_0380.jpg

Would this be inappropriate?

Completely inappropriate. Save that for an after-work party.

Polo shirt and slacks will do.
