If you opt for the Todd English’s Olives you will have a grand view of the fountains and if you just want something sweet go to the Jean-Philippe Patisserie.
There is shopping on the Via Bellagio but be prepared for the prices. Here are some of the exclusive names you will find, all of them upscale: Prada, Moschino, Chanel and Giorgio Armani, to name a few.
For an exquisite pampering visit the two story, 65,000 square foot Spa Bellagio on the second floor. They have 56 treatment rooms with four couple’s rooms. There are many lounges and it over looks the conservatory with all its lovely plants. They have a full menu of treatments. The most interesting and popular massages at the spa is the Ashiatsu. It is an ancient form of working on the body. A barefoot therapist walks on your back holding on to bars that are embedded in the ceiling. Or if you want to imitate the movie Goldfinger, go for the Egyptian Gold Body Treatment.
The most unique entertainment can be found at the Bellagio. Cirque du Soleil puts on a stunning show that incorporates the earth’s elements of air, fire and especially water. There are 85 acrobats and swimmers that perform above and in a 1.5 million gallon tank. The most amazing thing you will see is when three acrobats dive into the pool from 65 feet above into a very small seventeen foot section of the pool. Then there is the free, state of the art, fountain shows on Bellagio’s lake.
The Bellagio, often described as a mini city, has many surprises. You can find quiet little hideaways where you can read or just sip coffee. Or you can find wide balconies that overlook the fabulous pools.
There are 3,933 rooms and 512 suites. The casino will please any gambler with over 116,000 square feet. It has all the standard games any first class casino would have. There is a nightclub called The Light that has a very active dance floor and world class DJ’s. In a classy Mediterranean setting there are five pools and four Jacuzzis. And they have numerous wedding packages available for the couple that just has to get married in Vegas.
The business clientele have not be left out. They have a fully operational business center and 14 meeting rooms in various sizes. And if your corporation wants to throw a huge affair there is a 45,000 square foot Grand Ballroom.
The room amenities are what you can expect at a five star hotel. In addition to that they have a concierge, currency exchange, luggage and maid service, a safety deposit box and of course, wake up calls.
You must be 21 years old to rent a room and anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by and adult. Only four people can occupy a room and you must supply a credit card or cash deposit to cover any incidentals that may occur.
The bottom line here is that if you want to stay in a upscale establishment while you are in Las Vegas to gamble, you can’t beat the Bellagio hotel. Make a reservation and have a good time.

What are some things to do in las vegas?
Me and my family are going in late June and its going to be me, my mom, my dad, and my little sister. It’s a business thing for my dad and so he’ll be in meetings most of the day, my mom will be hanging out with the wifes of the guys my dad works with. So i’ll be with my sister. We dont wanna sit in the hotel all day so what are some things we could do. I’m 17, and she’s 14 so yeah, thanks!

Right in the Bellagio is the Cirque show “O” have your Dad get tickets before you go because it is always sold out. Now that that is out of the way here is some information. People under 21 may not gamble or drink alcohol but you are allowed to walk through the casino just not hang around in it. So feel free to explore the hotels on the Strip. BTW-The Strip is the street the Bellagio is on.
The Bellagio has a great pool so you want to make sure your parents get room keys for you. That is what you must present to access the pool area. Bring some small bills to tip the towel boy and person issuing chairs. They require you to be 14 years or older so you two do not need to be with an adult.
Remember to bring something to cover up with as you walk to and from the pool.
Now lets get with the story. There is a free tram (a monorail type thing) that runs from the Bellagio to the Monte Carlo. There is another free tram that runs from the Excalibur to Mandalay Bay then to Luxor then back to Excalibur. A bit of walking and the use of these trams brings the entire South West side of the Strip into your scope. Right next to the Monte Carlo is New York, New York which is fun to see. The New Your theme even includes steam coming out of manhole covers just like in Manhattan.
Mandalay Bay has the Shark Reef which is pretty cool. You walk along a glass tunnel surrounded by water in which sharks and giant sea turtles and other creatures swim. The even have a sting ray petting area on the way in.
Have a good time exploring all the giant hotels. There are a lot of features and attractions to see. You two will be quite save and secure as long as you do not wander away from the Strip.
Don’t talk to any of the pushy people trying to had you anything or claiming you can get something for free. They are selling timeshares during the day and escort services at night.
Take a cue from everyone else, ignore them.
Once you have had your fill, ride the tram back to the Excalibur and walk across the pedestrian overpass to visit the MGM Grand. This place is huge! Here you will find the lion habitat fun to look at the big cats.
There is not much to see in the Tropicana so head North to Planet Hollywood. They have lots to see there. Do you like to shop? They have the “miracle mile” where you will find 170 shops!
Then next stop Paris. (watch out for the mimes!) They have the Eiffel Tower and also a promenade with lots of shops that then connects to Bally’s.
If you are worn out by now you just have to cross the Strip and you are back at the Bellagio. The next adventure starts with crossing Flamingo Road and exploring the enormous Caesars Palace. More shopping, attractions and “human statues”. Every once in a while a big noisy animated show gone on in the atrium. When you have seen enough, go out and cross the Strip again this will take you to the Flamingo.
Walk through the Flamingo and you will find the Wildlife Habitat. It is a huge garden where you will see (what else?) Flamingos and surprisingly, penguins!
There is much more to explore and enjoy. Search the hotel web sites for more information. Most of these places have fun things to do. For instance New York, New York has a roller coaster, the Luxor has an Imax theater and a Imax motion ride. You never know when you will see a bunch of acrobats or jugglers or someone singing or a martial arts exhibition. Heck, once we were walking past New York, New York and they had an Organ Grinder with a cute little trained monkey! The monkey was dressed like a bell hop. He would hold up his cup and if you put in a dollar he would tip his hat. My wife must have given him $20!
It is a wonderful place and if you just look around you will be entertained.
