In addition, Pay Pal is a very secure website, and used by so many people worldwide. When your business starts picking up, you may want to consider getting a merchant account as well.
Lastly, you need to decide on how you are going to deliver your product. Since what you are selling is a physical product, you need to determine which shipping method is the most cost efficient for you. Get quotes from UPS, USPS and Fed Ex to see which is the best fit for your needs. I recommend that you set up an online shipper account with whichever you choose so that you can easily print labels for your product. This will save you tons of time rather than standing in line and filling out forms at the post office.
In conclusion, selling online may have been unheard of fifteen years ago, but nowadays almost every store has an online store. Having an online store when selling products is an easy way for you to start selling because you do not need to pay rent for a store to sell your product.
