What if a company doesn’t respond to a Better Business Bureau complaint?
I submitted a complaint to the BBB & I received an e-mail stating that they are waiting for the company to respond & that they have until October 31st to do so. But what happens if the company doesn’t respond? It’s not that I’m expecting them not to respond, I’m just curious.
The company’s rating with the BBB will go down – but essentially that doesn’t matter. The BBB itself is essentially worthless – they have no legal authority to punish businesses for bad business practices.
