Pay it Forward With your home business opportunity online
You may have heard of the phrase “pay it forward” and not really understood what it meant before. If you have understood the concept, then you may not have put it into practice yet, or realized how it can relate to your home business opportunity online.
To “pay it forward” means that when you have been the recipient of an act of kindness, then you repay this act of kindness to others, which can start a whole chain reaction of random acts of kindness, leading to a whole transformation of spirit.
You may ask what this has to do with your home business opportunity online, but believe me, it has everything to do with it!
The concept and its effect is much like viral marketing when you own a home business opportunity online, where everyone gets involved and is affected in some way that can wind up being something huge.
I was recently reminded of the concept of “pay it forward” after having a foot surgery that has left me in crutches for most of this month. For one thing, I have a new and stronger feeling of empathy for those who are disabled, and less fortunate than myself. This makes me feel blessed for my health and soon-to-be two happy runner’s feet.
In return for these spiritual thoughts of late, I have received many acts of sympathy and kindness from those I know, people I have seen but have never talked to before, and also from total strangers on the street. These kindnesses will never be forgotten.
That’s where your home business opportunity online comes in, and why paying it forward has everything to do with your online business success. If you still don’t get what I mean, then think about how you feel when someone does something great for you with no expectation of anything in return.
A home business opportunity online is all about relationships Relationships with people you know, and relationships with total strangers, prospects, clients, potential customers. The way you treat your customers has everything to do with what you get in return.
So what are some ways you can “pay it forward” with your home business opportunity online and treat your prospects and customers extra special so that they turn around and do the same for a few, if not many, other people to build a giant network of people helping people?
One way to pay it forward is to offer a mentoring service for your home business opportunity online. If you expect people to sign up for your programs and pay money to join, then you better be there to teach, guide, and offer continual, lifetime, and free support.
Forums, blog posts, articles, and emails are a great way to keep in touch with and assist your downline and prospects in your home business opportunity online.
It’s also a good idea with a home business opportunity online to give gifts on a regular basis as though your customers are gold. I don’t mean just the regular freebie downloadable e-books, but consider giving cash every once in a while to those who are struggling, or those who have helped sustain your business.
A small gift like this can go a very long way, and show how much you appreciate others, especially when it is totally self-less, random, and unexpected.
Another option of paying it forward in your home business opportunity online is by helping others by giving them some free public recognition to help boost their sales.
You could feature a customer’s name and product or service in a high-traffic forum, blog post, or article, spreading their links around in ways they can’t do themselves. You could also offer to rotate their links on your high traffic site.
The best ways to do business with your home business opportunity online are ways that are totally self-less, where you have the chance to do something good and heart-felt for someone less fortunate than yourself. Your act of kindness will not be forgotten, so don’t forget the power of paying it forward!

Which is better for selling used books online as a business?
1. Ebay and other “auction” sales type sites
2. Amazon.com’s used book section
3. my own “in house book store” where I use sites like alibris and abebooks and addall
Anyone have experience they can share. It will be appreciated.
I am interested in selling all kinds of books, pb and hb. I also have some rare books on esoteric subjects.
I will be asking this question in the business/small business section also. Thanks
You know it is hard to figure that one out. I had 2 big boxes full of good authors. I sold a whole box full of well known authors on ebay. I like it cause I knew in 7-10 days it would be over and I would be getting my money and the books were in boxes, ready to be shipped. I put some on half.com and amazon.com. For Half and Amazon, I put authors that we good like Stephen Jackson, Mary Balogh, Lisa klepas. These are really good author but they wouldnt do good on a auction. It worked out and it did take longer to sell them. If you have major books try a little of all put a couple or up to 3-5 books in half. amazon. abebooks. ebay. sit back and see which would be your favor.. have fun with it.. I just didn’t want to work without paypal. ebay spoiled me on it..lol

The Score $4.12 Their remake of “Killing Me Softly” was the hit, but that’s only the beginning of the story. A hip-hop trio whose talents reach out into the world of the pop song (Wyclef Jean is a fine guitar player, and Lauryn Hill’s a heck of a singer), the Fugees are also all distinctive, inventive rappers–you find yourself waiting for each of them to take the next verse in turn. The beats are the familiar cr… |

Business of Personal Training, The (book) $36.95 Inside information on administering your personal training business Whether you are considering a career as a personal trainer or searching for ways to increase revenue and gain new clients for your existing business, you’ll find The Business of Personal Training to be an indispensable reference. Written by some of the most successful personal trainers in the country, this book provides the foundation for building your personal training business. While many books address the subject of exercise training, few have been written about the business side of personal training. This book covers the topic more thoroughly than any other existing publication, discussing not only how to build a solid business but also how to be an effective trainer. Part I defines personal training, outlines the history of the profession, and reviews the qualifications for being a personal trainer. You’ll also find important information on the certifications offered by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, American College of Sports Medicine, American Council on Exercise, Cooper Institute for Aerobics Research, and National Strength and Conditioning Association. Many personal trainers have no formal business education and must learn the business aspects of their trade through trial and error. Part II helps you avoid common business mistakes, describing how to create, market, and manage a personal training enterprise. You’ll learn how to develop a mission statement and business plan, set business policies, create strategic and creative marketing plans, establish prices for services, hire and train staff members, and much more. This section also explains a personal trainer’s legal and professional responsibilities, such as giving clients a health screening, obtaining informed consent, and inspecting facilities and equipment. Part III offers techniques for becoming an effective personal trainer. Since there’s more to helping your clients achieve their fitness goals than simply prescribing a program, Part III discusses how to maintain a professional relationship with clients, the psychology of personal training, teaching techniques and tips for improving client-trainer communication, how to motivate clients and help them set goals, and how to design appropriate, individualized exercise programs. Nineteen sample forms in Parts II and III make it easy for you to put the ideas presented into practice. Learn from veteran personal trainers what it takes to succeed. The pr |
