I am attending a community college right now… can i finish my major there or do i have to transfer to a UC ?
to get to my major? …If you have to transfer… wat is the community college for …. is it just to complete the GE requirements only or what?My major will be Business Administration …Please help me understand ! i will really appreciate thanks….

Usually a community college is for students that want to get their lower division classes out of the way and pay a fraction of the cost for them. Most will eventually transfer to a 4 year institution to finish up their major and obtain their degree. A community college is also for those that are not interested in obtaining a BA/BS just a AA/AS or some kind of certificate.
Most community colleges do not offer BA/BS, as a matter of fact I don’t know of any that do.
In your case you will only be working on getting you GE and lower division classes for Business Administration. When you are in your second year or close to 60 units/hours you will apply to transfer to a 4 year to obtain your degree.
