The black-owned businesses: addressing the "how" feel "why bother?"
With all the discussion areas growth such as information technology in health, education, green technologies, etc., which lead the country out of depression prosecutor, you have not heard much about the black-owned businesses to be a growth area, but it should be.
The main reason for the implementation of many black-owned businesses is the limit of "concrete" effect in American companies that have led to promising black executives in the company because of the progress of limited possibilities.
Other businesses owned by blacks got their start because the founder had an idea and through hard work and tenacity, which thrives on the idea and built a business.
While representing the two general views of the black-owned company is relatively new on the scene, this concept is not all true. businesses owned by blacks, pillars of segregating black communities before the start of business ideas has taken place, So a long and sometimes tragic history of black-owned businesses and a history of success despite its enormous obstacles.
Despite current economic conditions, there are still opportunities for those wishing to start a business and the continuation of these growth areas to achieve their full potential.
Black-owned businesses can customize their platform of services and integrate cultural awareness is their unique own. According to Elbert McQuillan in his article, "Businesses Owned by Blacks leverage social networking for growth, technological advances today make it possible for many businesses owned by blacks "overcome some of the widespread discriminatory practices that struck the black community for years, denying them equal access to capital and further reduce potential growth their businesses. "
Access to capital has always been problematic for minority businesses and increased options funding for community banks and other investment models has generated a new era for funding opportunities for entrepreneurs who do not want to the table with a business plan.
The National Black Chamber of Commerce estimates that one million businesses owned Black in the United States accounts for more than 100 billion dollars in sales. However, businesses owned by blacks are still classified as "small businesses" compared to other groups.
What are some of the tools that companies can use to grow their business and maintain its advantage competitive? First, networking and building a support base with organizations that seek to provide resources and contacts is essential. The organizations like the Council of National Minorities Supplier Development in collaboration with the National Chamber of Commerce to offer businesses owned Black Black direct contact with influential people "in the public and private sectors can help them grow and develop your business.
The U.S. small business Administration and U.S. Department of Commerce-business development Agency are minority government agencies that can provide firms information and access to vital resources.
In addition, companies must join or a business or a commercial product service model. The scene opens up new opportunities and markets for companies to bring their unique style. Have a strong vision for business establishing strong relationships and maintain a flexible approach to help businesses owned by blacks continue its survival and celebrated by success despite the obstacles.
