How do I completely block another user from sending me unwanted email?
I want to block this idiot from sending me emails. It seems that this person has a couple…that contain false headers. Keeps on adding me on his messenger list. There are no other contact details on that account…so naturally I am concerned that this is a perverted and nosey doodoo head who wants to get into my business. I tried an online IP locator service and routing trace. It shows an IP Address at 99% accuracy and the trace path in which the message was sent. One thing I know for sure is that this person stated “you cant catch me”…that fuels the fire indeed!!
I dont know how to decipher the IP Address that was given. I dont want to close my account just to evade this fool. Thanks!
If you are talking about blocking in yahoo, go to your mail room, look to your right where you will see (Options) click there, once there it will take you to options to select for you to select , scroll down and look for (Preference) click there, a window will open up where you will have the choice of adding someone email address to the (BLOCK SENDER List) you will have to add that person name in the square box then click ADD to the block sender side, so next time you get mail from that person, write down the email address then go to your block sender list and add their name, and you will not recieve any more mail from that person ever again..Good luck..
