Efficiently Enjoyable:The Benefits of Charter Jets
As more people travel for business and pleasure, the need for quality private transportation is greater than ever. However, many people fail to consider all their options, and often settle for modes of transportation that are not cost-effective, efficient, or enjoyable.
One of the most common modes of private travel is driving. However, driving is only efficient for shorter distances. Cars can be cramped, uncomfortable, and costly, not to mention that unless a driver is hired, there is no way to relax during the trip. Chartering a private bus is possible, but that is usually not efficient unless the group traveling is of a certain size and the destination is within a certain radius.
When traveling any great distance, many people opt for flying. While it is probably possible to find a public flight for any necessary business travel, many people find this experience increasingly unpleasant. With the rising cost of airline travel, it is less and less cost-effective to fly. Even more, there are fewer flights available, making it less likely to find a timely flight.
With all this hassle, more people are turning to private jets for their travel needs. While not everyone can afford to buy a private charter jet, there are numerous companies that make inexpensive charter planes available on demand. These private jets come in all sizes, so it is easy to find a private aircraft to best suit any travel need, whether it be for an individual or large group.
By renting a private jet for a charter flight, it is possible to travel at any time of day or night to any location around the world. It can be extremely cost-effective when considering the hidden fees associated with other private transportation. Overall, private aircraft rental is simply the most efficient way to travel.

How much does it cost to buy a Boeing 747-200 private business jet?
I mean obviously im not looking to buy one i think they may be out of my price range……..but hey maybe someday!
As far as I know there is only one passenger 747-200 left flying (With Iran Air) plus a few freighters with the likes of Connie Kalitta. I believe the USAF E-4 are based on the -200 airframe but they are not available.
So no chance. The few survivors are realistically worth only scrap value.
Now $100 million would get you a really nice 737 with all the goodies.

Boeing Boeing - $24.99 Marc Camoletti’s popular stage farce Boeing Boeing is watered down and realigned into a Tony Curtis/Jerry Lewis vehicle. Curtis plays an American journalist living in Paris; Lewis is his goonish (but surprisingly restrained) buddy. Partial to stewardesses, Curtis manages to juggle the affections of three luscious flight attendants (Dany Saval, Christiane Schmidtmer, and Suzanna Leigh), whose schedules are such that their visits to Curtis’ bachelor pad never overlap. Complications ensue when the Boeing company speeds up its air service, and when Lewis tries to muscle in on Curtis’ “racket.” The best lines go to Thelma Ritter as Curtis’ disapproving housekeeper. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi |
