Basics and Fundamentals for Realtor Market
The first fundamental for realtor marketing is to research your market. Research is vital to realtor marketing. Before you can write anything informative or persuasive, you have to know your target audience. What are their needs? What are their desires? Unless you know these fundamental things, you will have difficulty connecting and selling to the people you are trying to build as a client base.
Do not offer something unless you are capable and willing to provide it. In other words, don’t be a dishonest salesman. Repeat business might be a large chunk of your future referrals, so it is unwise to trick someone. They won’t come back. Even worse, your reputation will be damaged; in a business that requires personal networking, that could destroy your career.
You should be professional, but also maintain a level of passion, diligence, and enthusiasm. You must be willing to follow through on all your projects. Without the proper level of energy and passion, then the project is likely to fall flat and fail. Also, excitement is contagious, and the consumer will pick up on your level of passion and become excited with you.
Understand your goals. Without setting and keeping goals for yourself, you have nothing to aim for. Without proper aim, then you will lose focus of what your goals really are. If you are in business without any specific goals, then you are running a business that isn’t trying to do anything. Keeping a series of goals will increase your motivation as you see marked completion and progress on each of your goals.
Stay on the cutting edge by learning new technologies. Don’t ever assume that you are done learning. Becoming a perpetual student is important to gaining fresh ideas and insights into your markets and your business. Read often. Learn how to apply new theories to the practical marketplace. Not only will this make you more industrious, but it will also make you more flexible and attractive to a wide variety of prospective clients.
Keep a clean website and regularly updated blog. The worst thing for your website is for it to look like a lot of spam. Humanize it by adding a sense of personality to it. An attractive and personal website is the key to attracting large amounts of leads.

Book suggestion for a first time accounting student.?
I am taking a online business class called Accounting Fundamentals. The course covers basic book keeping topics such as the general ledger, general journal, accounts payable journal, accounts receivable, balance sheet and trial balance. The class is approaching it’s final exam and it’s been fun. But I would like to further my skills and also home in on more accounting. Perhaps some one in the Yahoo community could suggest a structured book and author for a first time accounting student like me. Thanks.
Try getting
Intermediate accounting, cost accounting, and financial management textbook.
I love accounting too I am currently working on my bachelors degree on-line. Intermediate accounting was my favorite. I may be sick but I think accounting is relaxing.
