Macbook VS Macbook Pro?
I am starting college next year so, naturally, I will need a laptop. My Mom just bought a laptop a month ago, a Dell Inspiron 1520, but said if I want, she will keep that one for her business and I can get my own for college.
Anyways, I am interested in a Mac. I have never used Macs before (except the ones in the Apple store!). The big question now is Macbook or Macbook Pro? I don’t play games (except for some small online ones when I am bored). The only programs I use, really, are Microsoft Word, Mozilla Firefox, and Paint Shop Pro. I am also interested in continuing using my laptop for after college, when I become a teacher. So which would be more suited for me?
Also, I heard that Macs come with a few programs like iFilm and iPhoto (?). Are those limited or are they permanent in the laptop?
OR should I forget Macs altogether and still with Dells?

Go with a Mac for sure-I’ve been successfully using them for my entire life. If you aren’t using too many programs, the MacBook should suit you well. If you’re going to be using a lot of flash, and need tons of memory, use Pro. I don’t think Paint Shop Pro is available for Apple, but you can always use Photoshop [free trials are available-it's possible to make them last]. Yes, they do come with iMOVIE and iPhoto. They are permanent. Macs also come with PhotoBooth, iTunes, BoardGames, TextEdit, and other useful widgets, such as Calculator and Dictionary. Apples are so simple to use, don’t fret over it!
